Entrepreneurship boot camps provide intensive training, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Such training accelerates learning, fostering collaboration, and empowering aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into successful businesses.

The 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐂𝐄𝐈𝐃) operating at 𝐃𝐇𝐀 𝐒𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 collaborated with 𝐍𝐔𝐒𝐓 – 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 (𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏) to organize a week-long 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩 at the 𝐂𝐄𝐈𝐃-𝐀𝐆𝐇𝐀𝐙 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫. This boot camp was a part of the 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬 entrepreneurship competition being held at 𝐍𝐔𝐒𝐓-𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏.

We are thrilled to share the highlights of this boot camp that was filled with learning, inspiration, and valuable connections, fostering the growth of aspiring entrepreneurs.

Welcoming the trainers and mentors, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐟𝐳𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐫, 𝐃𝐇𝐀 𝐒𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 expressed gratitude for their efforts in nurturing entrepreneurs through this boot camp. 𝐌𝐫. 𝐅𝐮𝐫𝐪𝐚𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐣𝐣𝐚𝐝,

𝐌𝐫. 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐟, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤, and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢 were among the trainers and mentors. These accomplished individuals, have excelled in various domains of entrepreneurship and had generously volunteered their time and expertise to train and mentor the participating startups.

The boot camp commenced with a bang at 𝐀𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐳, 𝐃𝐇𝐀 𝐒𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲. Setting the stage for an exciting journey ahead, the participants were welcomed with a cake-cutting ceremony coupled with light refreshments.

The trainer for the first day was 𝐌𝐬. 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐣𝐣𝐚𝐝, Program Manager at the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 (𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏). This day focused on business model development.

The second day was filled with insightful sessions on startup businesses focusing on financial management. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢, director of DSU-CEID, shared her extensive knowledge of financial management for startups. She guided participants on effective strategies to steer their operations by managing their budgets optimally.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐟 𝐇𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐧, a working partner for minorities in Pakistan, enlightened participants on raising capital for small startups, highlighting the importance of financial independence.

The third was filled with excitement as a visit was planned for the participants at Katalyst Labs; a technology accelerator and innovation hub. The participants were privileged to meet and interact with startups stationed at Katalyst Labs. 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐚, 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 & 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐨𝐟 Katalyst labs, shared her invaluable experience and insights on starting a successful business.

That day, they also featured a pitching session where the startups showcased their innovative ideas, demonstrating their commitment to solving real-world problems.

After this exciting visit filled with knowledge sharing, the participants surely needed some fun-filled activity. To ensure everyone stayed energized and refreshed, a trip to 𝐃𝐨𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐨𝐧 was planned. Participants, trainers, and supporting members indulged in delicious refreshments, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of networking and camaraderie.

The third day of the boot camp brought yet another experienced trainer to guide and mentor the participants. For this day 𝐌𝐫. 𝐅𝐮𝐫𝐪𝐚𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢, 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐬, and a highly experienced trainer was their trainer and mentor. With his unique style, he kept the participants engaged by sharing valuable insights on startup management. The day proved transformative as entrepreneurs gained knowledge, skills, and insights essential for success in the dynamic world of startups.

The final day of this 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩 marked the culmination of an extraordinary journey filled with learning, growth, and innovation. This was the day the aspiring entrepreneurs were ready to showcase their remarkable business ideas to the world.

On this momentous final day, the participants had a unique opportunity to demonstrate their learning throughout the boot camp and present their business pitches to the distinguished panel of mentors and get feedback.

These accomplished individuals generously volunteered their time and expertise to evaluate the pitches and provide constructive feedback. The presentations were evaluated based on criteria such as viability, scalability, and long-term potential.

We were glad to witness the enthusiasm, dedication, and hard work demonstrated by the participants throughout this boot camp. Their passion, resilience, and creativity had been truly inspiring.
